Hello,

So after 2 years of amarok working wonderfully, I have another collection problem. Basically, I have ~2000 tracks, but Amarok detects only ~68-100 of them. I tried to run the standalone amarokcollectionscanner alone to see if I could see any error, but all that did was organize on my harddrive, but that did not make a collection database. I think it seg faulted on a file, but I do not remember, and I'd rather not try again in risk of moving my music around once again. I'm sorry if my explanation is confusing, so if there are any more commands I need to run, show the output of, or clarify any points, just post.

Thanks

Having the same issue... Only showing about 5,000 tracks out of the 12,000+ I have. For some reason it is only adding a few songs from some albums. Everything was working fine just a few days ago. I have tried deleting all the amarok config folders and even tried reinstalling but to no avail.

Well, I ran it from command line and saw that it kept crashing on two rm (RealMedia) videos since it couldn't read their tags. Is there anyway to prevent amarok for searching for certain extensions?

What about telling us which exact Amarok version and which distribution you are talking about? That should be in the first line :)

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
