How is wikipedia language chosen?

Hi,

I am running the current Mandriva 2009.1 x64 version of Amarok (2.1.1) in English but the PC is physically in France. The Wikipedia applet in Amarok is pulling in articles in French. Why is it doing this? How can I change it to pull in English ?

This is already solved in Amarok 2.2, beta 1 should be available in Mandriva any day now.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Hi,

I still can't see Amarok 2.2 Beta in the Mandriva repositories. Is there a config file somewhere that I can edit to get 2.1.1 to stay in English?
