The fastest way to crash amarok

Fri Sep 04, 2009 6:13 pm
Sometimes my mouse pointer gets stick on the local collection entry, or I accidently move it. If you let it fall on itself Amarok crashes instantly.
Could this be avoided in a way or should I do more mouse training?

Click on the field "Local Collection". Hold the mouse button and drag a bit, until che cursor changes to "operation not permitted". Now release the mouse button, the field tries to wander back and Amarok crashes instantly.
This often happens, when I add covers manually, because the tree closes everytime, whenever the file dialog appears (very annoying btw.).
So I have to click on "Local Collection" again to open the tree; and sometimes I move my mouse while still pressing the button (head-hand coordination doesn't work :-)).
So for Amarok it looks like I would move the local collection into itself, I suggest.
