When staring up Amarok 2.2beta (released today) it thinks the collection was created by a newer version and will not load

The previous version installed was yesterday's (or day previous) git

Is there a file I can edit or do I have to do a complete new scan
- if a new scan can I just delete mysqle directory?

- if I recompile the git (to be able to use existing collection) will the next beta use the my existing db?

- will erasing mysqle affect my covers?

thanks

GIT ChangeLog is at 2.2-beta2.
DB_VERSION is stored in the admin table (GIT has version 7, beta has 6, set static in DatabaseUpdater.cpp)
So you can try to update the admin table by setting DB_VERSION to 6.
Or increase DB_VERSION in src/collection/sqlcollection/DatabaseUpdater.cpp. No warranty!
Deleting mysqle dir will cause loss of all statistics.
Downloaded covers are stored in the albumcovers dir, not in the db.
GIT will always be ahead of released betas. So either you use git permanently or you stop early enough before the release of the next beta.
