Amarok does not make random order based on albums

pavel Registered Member Posts 134 Karma 1 OS	Amarok does not make random order based on albums Mon Sep 07, 2009 7:08 am I have set Amarok to randomly play whole albums (not songs), but it plays randomly songs. I set it through Playlist->Random->Albums (I am sorry if my translation of menu items to English is not very correct). Amarok is 2.1.1 from KDE 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0) "release 158" pavel, proud to be a member of KDE forums since 2008-Dec.

You could try with the "Random Album" script from kde-apps.org. Make sure you install it through the Script Manager, though. Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11 FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
