Well, it's a bit difficult to tell, since you didn't specify your Amarok version ...
From the screen shot I guess you are using Amarok 2.0.2, right? Then you definitely should upgrade, the latest stable is Amarok 2.1.1 available in the jaunty-backports repository, and Amarok 2.2 final is due in about a week from now. As for then transparent shape appearing on top of the window, I think this is not Amarok but Gnome related, looks like a compositing error.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
