I'm having a small problem. I just installed a new client running OpenSUSE 11.1 (Amarok 1.4.10 using KDE 3.5.10 (rel 21.9).
My server holds all mp3. On the server there is also a MySQL db which is used by amarok. The path to the mp3s is available over the network via a mount.
I correctly configured amarok, within amarok I can see my playlists (which are actually in the db), load and play them. However in the Collection tab ... no mp3 are shown!!
I've tried 'Tools-Update Collection' but this didn't change anything. I haven't tried 'Tools-Rescan Collection' because that will take hours. There must be an easier way.

Anybody any suggestions??
