Whenever I try and use this feature, nothing seems to happen. I click the button and it greys out but goes back to normal after moving the mouse away and no covers are fetched (apart from one time the first album in the list was fetched). Right clicking an album and clicking Fetch Cover works perfectly fine.

I noticed it when I upgraded from 1.4 so I tried a fresh install by uninstalling it and deleting the amarok folder in my home folder yet it was still the same.

Any ideas? i'm using Amarok 2.2.0 on Fedora 11/Gnome

there's a reported bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205032 and patch that "fixes" these kind of issues in git master but maybe not yet in the stable version.

Seems to me there's still some work to do to make the cover fetching as useful as in the 1.4 Amarok series
