Platform: Fedora 11 32bit, Amarok 2.2.0 (from Fedora's RPM), libgpod 0.7.0-2
Issue: My old iPod (Video, 80G) was detected fine with Amarok 1.x under Fedora 8. Now using Amarok 2.2, I am very confused with the interface. The iPod is plugged in, connected, I can see it under Local Music. How do I transfer file from my local computer to the iPod? With the old aMarok, I could just drag the whole album to the device and it'll transfer. |

I hope something can be added to the UI to make such functions more discoverable. It seems counter-intuitive that some file management functions are accomplished by dragging but others are not; for example, you can easily (and intuitively) drag a folder or file from a local source (disk or device) to a playlist. Amarok 1.4 was much more intuitive overall (although 2.2 appears to be more powerful). Anyhow, thanks for the solution to this mystery

Oh man. I search for this basic function for about one month. The UI of amarok 2 is really getting worse.
