Hello folks, recent media monkey convert. I was wondering if there was a neat plugin for renaming stuff. Like that "rename from file name" and it's okay to select a bunch of files at once, or "rename from web" where it goes to amazon or something. Thanks, drew

I like kid3 but I use it 1 album (directory) at a time, for multiple albums at a time I use easytag but I find it not so easy to understand. These 2 apps seem to be the most full featured as they will allow renaming the directory based on tag values, retrieve tag info from the web and handle pictures.

I think using wine you should be able to run media monkey but not sure all functionality will be available - I have an older version installed but haven't really used it.
