I'm running OpenSuSE 11.2 with KDE 4.3.1(release 6) and Amarok 2.1.1 + packages from packman repo for mp3 support. My Sony NWZ-B135 could not be mounted when Amarok is running(plus that Amarok freeze when wallkman is plugged in). If I plugged the wallkman without Amarok running it's mounted properly, and if I try to start Amarok after that it starts in freeze state.
Did somebody got any idea fro fix? Thanx, k. |

Now with KDE 4.3.3 still no mounting of the wallkman, but Amarok doesn't freeze anymore when the device is plugged in.

He has a Sony MTP and MSC work perfectly well with a Sansa Clip here, so might be related to the Sony device. There is another device with problems we know about currently which is the Creative Zen. Can't talk about iPods, don't have one and never will.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
