I just updated my kubuntu install to 9.10, but unfortunately amarok doesn't want to start . When i try lo launch the program firstly one window appears saying that it is updating system configuration, but the progress bar is starting over and over. If i press cancel this window appears
traslation of the italian part "Amarok is not able to find any collection plugin. It's possible that amarok has been installed with a wrong prefix, correct installation using :" Thanks for any future reply |

Just start amarok again. The message might go away. Also try (as your user, not root):

If kbuildsycoca4 crashes, you are in a big trouble with KDE as a whole. Try to get rid of the files it reports.

No, not if you remove without knowing what is wrong. Apparently you seem to use wine, which is the last kbuild-message before the crash. This could be the culprit. Else I strongly suggest you reinstall amarok and some core KDE packages. Try the following: in a konsole, copy the following (all in one line):
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

You still get that message about kbuildsycoca4? Then something is wrong in your KDE installation, you should file a bug to Kubuntu.
