Hi,
my problem is that tracks in my collection are displayed as having a length 1000 times their normal length (yeah I checked that manually ). The weird thing is that if I copy a file somewhere else and add it again to the playlist, the length is displayed correctly (as the file is no longer in the collection). I was using a mysql-database so I thought maybe that's the problem, but the problem persists with using sqlite. However if I change the length field in the database manually to length/1000 the length gets displayed correctly. Seems to me that the length gets saved in milliseconds but the value is interpreted as seconds... or something like that. I'm using kde 4.3, qt-4.5.3 and amarok-2.2.0, kernel is 2.6.32-rc6 git-sources. Thanks in advance. |

Amarok2 doesn't use SQLite at all, so either you're using Amarok 1.4x or A2 with MySQL?

Well I use Amarok 2 with mysql, but it's possible to deactivate mysql and I assumed sqlite is used instead... anyway I just wanted to point out that it doesn't seem to be a mysql related problem...

Just rescan your collection, then restart Amarok, that should solve the problem.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

well rescanning didn't solve anything, so today I tried the live version. Everything seems to be working now. Solved.

I am using version 2.2.1 and have the same problem. Rescanning didn't solve it.
EDIT: Upgrading to taglib-1.6.1 (from 1.6.0). I'll see if that helps. |
