I am currently using Amarok Version 2.2.0, KDE 4.3.2, and Ubuntu 9.10.
How would I go about abandoning my use of Pulseaudio? Thanks for your help so far. |

* in the System Settings -> Multimedia push the Pulseaudio entry to the bottom,
* make sure you have the phonon-backend-xine and libxine1-ffmpeg installed, * Remove and purge all packages called pulseaudio* * remove $HOME/.kde/share/config/phonondevicesrc * remove an eventual .asound.conf in your home folder * restart KDE That should solve the issue.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Also consider upgrading to Amarok 2.2.1: http://www.kubuntu.org/news/amarok-2.2.1 (Not directly related, but it fixes many bugs)

Hi, how are you?
I'm running Amarok 2.2.1 and KDE 4.3.2 on Debian Squeeze. Since the last update (when amarok was upgraded to 2.2.1) i am having the same trouble. Disabling replaygain does not solve the problem. Also i moved down the pulseaudio to the bottom of preferred audio devices and the problem is still there. What else can i do to fix the problem? Thanks, Lalan.- |
