sorry very new to this

dont have much time and have not done many searches regarding this prob as i just had wanted to quickly set amorok up

I recently did a fresh ubuntu 9.10 install on my computer and all seems to be running smooth [ although as i said i havent had much time to test everything out]

I want to use Amorok and have just installed it . The last time i used it was the first time I had ever used any type of music player that alphebetically stored your music etc. I was wrapped and just mucked around a lil and found it easy to figure out and use.

this time i have a bit of an annoying problem as I am trying to tell amorok to import my music files from my external drive and I dont now how as the eternal just does not 'appear' in the list of places .

any help would be great thanks

Open Amarok > Settings > Configure Amarok. Browse to the Collection tab, and locate your drives mount point, and tick the needed folders on it, then click Apply.

Of course, this can only work if the drive is mounted when you actually set the collection path in Amarok :)

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
