Good morning to everyone,
I just installed Amarok 2.2.0 on ubuntu 9.10. I have all my music stored in a specific folder ("/work/Music") which I added to my collection through the configuration wizard. It worked partially: amarok recognized and added to the collection all the artist from the letter A through the letter G for a total of 550 tracks. But I have at least other 600 songs by artists starting with the following letters of the alphabet in that folder that are not present in my collection... I tried to exit amarok and to reload the compilation but nothing changes. Moreover if I browse that folder with amarok it is able to see the other files, to play them correctly and to load information about the artist (medias are fully recognized) What should I do? Thanks a lot for your attention |

You should upgrade to Amarok 2.2.1, then do a full rescan of your collection and restart Amarok. For more information about Amarok 2.2.1, see http://kubuntu.org
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
