I really like ripping CDs via Dolphin, just drag&drop and everything is done. But unfortunately it doesn't support ripping directly into mp3 format. There is no encoder in System Settings > Audio CD.

Is it possible to add this feature somehow? I am using openSuse 11.2.

Which distribution do you use?

Make sure you have "lame" installed.

in openSuse you need kio_audiocd installed

fyi - though present it does not work for me (could be a kde4.4bet issue), you should try Audex as it provides covers

OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x

Awesome! I (re)installed kio_audiocd and lame and it seems to be working right now (I don't know, which one did it exactly). I have no audio cd around me right now, so I can't test it, but at least there is an mp3 encoder in system settings now.
