Hi, I'm on kubuntu 9.10 and I'm keen to upgrade my amarok, however I can't seem to find it.
I've added repositiories as per http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Download:Kubuntu and that worked just last week when I upgraded to 2.2.1, but even if I force a reinstall I'm still stuck with 2.2.1 any suggestions? |

Because Amarok 2.2.2 is not released yet, we only released a beta version. Please keep an eye on http://kubuntu.org, they will announce once the packages are available.
Since this is only a beta release and aimed at testers, the distributions don't necessarily package it or make it available to a broader public. In that case, you will have to build it from the tarball available on our download page: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Download
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Is there a link to download the beta version other than through the tarball? I'm on Ubuntu Jaunty, thanks. |

well, it is released now
see http://kubuntu.org/news/amarok-2.2.2 But of course you need to run Karmic, there is no backport to Jaunty, and I don't think there will be any
