ID3 tags on WMA files

Sat Dec 19, 2009 9:59 am
Hi,

I have a bunch of wma files that were ripped from the CDs without any tags on them. Tagging them on amarok works fine, but it's too slow to do iot manually. There's a script called discogs but somehow it doesn't seem to work for me. Tags are recovered correctly but they are not copied correctly.
I tried using a program called kid3, and the tags are copied correctly to the files, other programs like mplayer recognize them. Problem is, amarok doesn't. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there a bug in the way amarok reads tags from wma files?
I'm using amarok 2.2.1.90 by the way.

Hm, I really have no idea, could you please file a bug report for that? This is the shortlink to our bug interface:

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
