Have a playlist (either m3u or pls) that I load into amarok (eg pls contains:
File1=http://iiradio.iiNet.net.au:8003/ Title1=SKY.FM - Absolutely Smooth Jazz - 96k (iiNet Jazz) Length1=-1 File2=http://iiradio.iiNet.net.au:8020/ Title2=SKY.FM - Modern Jazz - 96k (iiNet Jazz) Length2=-1 File3=http://iiradio.iiNet.net.au:8004/ Title3=SKY.FM - Mostly Classical - 96k (iiNet Classical) Length3=-1) Which has the info for the station as well as the stream, but in Amarok when the playlist is loaded, only get: Stream (http://iiradio.iinet.net.au:8003/) Stream (http://iiradio.iinet.net.au:8020/) Stream (http://iiradio.iinet.net.au:8004/) If I load the same playlist into Totem, it just shows the titles (the preferred event...) Is there any way to make Amarok do similar? Thanks, John. |

Hmm, which Amarok version are you using?

Suse 11.2/KDE 4.3.3/Amarok 2.2.1...
If I play the individual stream it will pick up the latest track played as well as the station, but then if I reload the playlist, it goes back to the previous info. ie: Stream (http://iiradio.iinet.net.au:8003/) Stream (http://iiradio.iinet.net.au:8020/) Stream (http://iiradio.iinet.net.au:8004/) Thanks, John. |

Hi,
I have nearly the same problem. I have set up an ampache server at home, and when I stream the music to my laptop at work (using OpenSuse, KDE 4.4 and Amarok 2.2.90) I get a playlist full of very long entries: Stream (http://www.mydomain.../ampache/play/.....) but I never get the actual title of the song being played. I have tried previous version of Amarok, but with the same result (I believe it worked on 1.4, though.) Any idea as to how to fix this? Harald |
