Hi,
In my collection by default the albums of the artists are ordered by year from the most recent to the most older. But I wanna sort them from the most older to the most recent. Is it possible? How I can do? Thanks folks!! Val. |

Which Amarok version is this? Did you try inverting the sort order by clicking on the column header? That works fine here, and always has as far as I can remember.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Hi Mamarok,
The vesion of Amarok is 2.2.0. In Collection I haven't got column headers. I've got the list of Artists and when I expand one of them the list of albums appear like YEAR - ALBUM_NAME. But this is ordered by YEAR descendent. And I want it will be ordered by YEAR ascendent. Do you know if it's possible? Thanks. ValM. |

Ok. I'll do it. Now I've got the artists ordered from Z to A and the albums ordered by YEAR descendent. But the option that I want is artists ordered from A to Z and albums ordered by YEAR descendent... Perhaps it's not possible to order the collection like I want...

That is apparently inverted on purpose, see also wish 208433: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=208433

I completely agree with the person that open that bug. How can I know when that bug was resolved?

Visit it from time to time and watch the status of the bug, you can see it in the header section. If it changes to "RESOLVED" over time, it will be fixed.

Even more easily: subscribe to the bug, then you get notified in your inbox when there are changes.
