I can't seek with the slider in any of my .mp3 tracks

I was forced to upgrade to v2 so I decided to go for the beta. After a lot of trouble with alsa/phonon/pulseaudio, I finally was able to get v2.2.1.90 playing audio just fine. However, I can not seek any where in the media using the time slider on top. If I try to grab it, it does not focus and behaves as if I never clicked on it, thus, no seek. Also, the key bindings for seek also fail to seek the song.

The media I am having problems with (all .mp3 files so far, and have only test .mp3) seek find in amarok 1.4 and other media players.

Can any one let me know if this is a common problem, bug, or issue outside of Amarok? Or, a general direction to start looking. Thanks.

Seeking works fine here in my mp3 files, using Amarok 2.2-git on Kubuntu 9.10.

What are your exact sound settings currently?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

I've just had the same problem and switching GStreamer to Xine backend made it work ;)
