I've found it very efficient to change from "Source-Playlist-Context" to just "Playlist-Context" using the keyboard shortcuts.
Problem is, the shortcut varies (which took me a while to figure out)!
Sometimes, it's Alt-V -- M, and at other times it's Alt-V -- E!
I haven't tried this in any other language than Swedish, so it might be a menu translation problem. But I think someone should doublecheck this.

For me it is always Alt-V -- M in the English version.
You may want to file a bug report at bugs.kde.org to get this fixed.
