is there a way to have amarok delete the empty dirctorys after it organizes a collection or part of a collection

I wouldn't recommend to use the "Organize Collection" feature currently.

It does have a few serious bugs, that's why we removed it temporarily in the latest releases, until this is fixed. As an alternative, you could e.g. use "EasyTag" for organizing.

thanks i used the organize before you said that and it seemed to work on amarok 2.2.1.90

but if something went wrong it wouldn't of been that bad i have a fairly big collection around 20,000 songs and because if it's size i do keep backups on a nfs share and on an external drive.
