Well, this is one of the strangest bugs I've ever found .
I'm using 2.2.2 on an Archlinux 64bit box with Xine backend.

Since a few releases back I've seen that the photos widget tries to recover images, but after a few seconds it gives up and doesn't show anything. I didn't report this earlier as I thought this would be fixed in a near release, but time came by and it still doesn't work, but neither are there complaints about this happening to anybody else, so today I've started to change things, and the first one has been change Amarok's language to English (American & British). To my surprise, the photos widget works without problem . Then I've tried a few other languages (Catalan, French or Russian) and the same problem shows again.

If I can provide any other information (pictures, logs or anything else) to help fix this bug I'll be happy to do so.

BTW, congrats on the 2.2.2 release!

This seems to be some issue with the Arch Linux package. We have seen one other report about this, also from an Arch user, but not from other distros.

Could you please talk to the Arch Linux packagers about this? Thanks
