Hey --
I'm enjoying the new 2.2.2, but I've noticed that relative links in the wikipedia applet no longer work for me (I'm pretty certain they worked in the last 2.2.2 beta). Clicking on a link in the wikipedia applet that points to another wikipedia page gives me the following error:
External links work fine. Is this a known issue, or should I file a bug report (I searched by didn't see anything for amarok + wikipedia? I know there was something about it in the changelog for this release. cheers. |

Hmm, can't reproduce this here. Works just fine.
What KDE version are you using?

Hi --
I'm currently running KDE 4.3.4 under Fedora 12. It's the same KDE versions that I was running with the last beta (where the internal links were working okay). Hmm, looking a bit deeper, the links seem to work some of the time. I don't see a clear pattern in it yet, though. The links on the wikipedia error page (below) work, and on any page that I arrive at from that error page. But if I go back to the current artist page (or the track changes), the links stop working. More strange behaviour pops up when I try a citation link (which are links of anchors like "#cite_note-Coal_Question-0"), it seems to open up Konqueror with a blank page. Doubly strange, since firefox is my default browser (and external links are opened with FF). All fairly confusing, but maybe there is a clue in there somewhere... -- Another minor, unrelated issue that I just noticed while fiddling around: I was listening to a radio stream ( intergalacticFM !), which sends a track name in the form of: track_name | artist_name | album | year (so, pipe delimited). The same thing happens when I have a track named: '[untitled]' So, trying to search by song name gives a wikipedia error page ( '|' is an illegal character). Obviously, that search wouldn't return anything in this case anyway, but maybe it would be a good idea to strip out any illegal characters. (oh - note that I was also testing things with music that returns valid wikipedia pages, not just the radio stream). thanks! |

This might actually be a regression. We just found this here (the commit might have broken something):
commit 53115ffc538bc8d1403fc5c3e57eef71e9ad8d58 Author: Martin Aumüller <aumuell@reserv.at> Date: Wed Dec 16 00:21:41 2009 +0100 fix relative links from wikipedia pages browsing to a different wikipedia language and clicking links there would not work as the relative links would have been transformed to the configured wikipedia language. this is fixed by communicating the url of the current page to Plasma::Webview's QWebPage instead of monkeying around with relative links BUG:218512

I am running KDE 4.3.5 and Amarok 2.2.2 (which strangely claims to run under KDE 4.3.2) and have the same problem with Wikipedia links. Who/where is this solved?
