I'm a bit of a Linux newb and Amarok is the only program I've used so far that is compatible with my Creative Zen Touch (firmware v2.11.01) and it performed alright....for a few hours. When I first synced my Zen Touch and later unsynced it, for some bizarre reason all of my # - B artist files had been erased from my device's directory. Luckilly the files were not actually deleted and were still safely on the hard drive, they just didn't show up on the device itself when I navigated to play music. I had to move the files off of my mp3 player and onto my PC and then with Amarok re-sync them. It solved the problem, but not too long after that, Amarok has stopped seeing my Zen Touch completely. I have tried every possible solution I can think of. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it enough times to make my head spin and it has the exact same problem every time. If I try to open my device using Amarok the logo appears on the upper-right panel and then completely freezes. I have to perform an xkill command just to close it. Is there something wrong with my registry or my packages that could be causing this? I'm just completely baffled at how it works perfectly fine one minute and has a complete meltdown the next.

Please open Konsole and run the following:
Close it when it opens, then connect the device and run the command again. Pastebin the output of this second run.
