Auto resizing of Amarok main window

Sat Mar 13, 2010 6:01 pm
Hello,

Amarok main window is pretty small by default (relatively, on "24 screen). My problem is that Amarok doesn't keep the last used resolution of its window. After every minimizing to the system tray or closing and lunching again, always the small default window pops out again. It's very annoying.

Is there any option to force Amarok to remember the last used window size? This hasn't happened before with versions older than 2.2.2.

I run Amarok on GNOME, with all required KDE libs installed. Like I said before, this problem didn't occur with older versions (both Amarok and GNOME/KDE). Is this a known issue?

And which exact Amarok version are you talking about? Some indication of the distribution and KDE version would be also helpful.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Amarok: 2.2.2
KDE: 4.3.4

Both up to date versions for Fedora 12.

In 2.3-GIT, this doesn't happen, at least in Kubuntu 9.10. If I stretch out the Amarok window and quit to the menu bar, when I re-open, it is exactly what I stretched it to. Quit from the Amarok menu and restarting also opens to the stretched size.
