Hey, I've tried to compile Amarok 2.3.0 on debian Squeeze today but am running into a problem.
Code: Select all
  Could NOT find QCA2 (missing: QCA2_LIBRARIES QCA2_INCLUDE_DIR)

I have these libraries installed and have tried installing sql after some searching to no avail. I have kde installed though use FVWM as my main WM.

Thanks in advance.

You need libqca2-dev.

Anyway, amarok, amarok-commom and amarok-utils from unstable should be installable on testing.

Thanks for your help. I ended up using the unstable repos like you advised and worked perfectly. Got a little confused at first with the old style toolbar coming up. :-S

Thanks
