Since upgrading to 2.3.0, my collection will no longer display. When I tell it to rescan, it does, and it takes as long as it should for all the files I have (nearly five minutes) but apparently it doesn't find anything it likes because nothing displays under Local Collection. Files will still play if selected through the file manager. My music is organized enough that I can use Amarok's file browser for now, but it's somewhat annoying. Incidentally I tried navigating to my files using the sidebar file browser, selecting them all and clicking "move to Local Collection", not realizing that it would open thousands of windows in its attempt to move everything. (What is the difference between "move to Local Collection" and "copy to" anyway? And why doesn't it manage this operation the same way it does "rescan collection"?) To its credit, Amarok continued valiantly playing my song, but eventually it just froze completely and I had to kill it. Anyway, anything I can do here?

I suppose you are using Ubuntu. If that's the case, execute:

I notice that you use Ubuntu. It seems that there was some sort of packaging error, which will be fixed soon, we hope. Meanwhile, some of the last comments here might help:
