Simple scenario:
Double click on playlist - "play song1"
Double click on playlist - "play song2"
...

Any double click can lead to amarok crash.
Unfortunately, no crash report generates.
Also in debug mode (with "-d" flag) the problem not reproduced.
May be this info will be useful - the problem appeared when I changed my old processor to new Phenom X925

Amarok version - 2.1.1(KDE 4.3.5)
System info -
Linux 2.6.31.12-0.1-desktop x86_64
openSUSE 11.2 (x86_64)

I followed your directions without incident. Double-clicking on any track in the playlist starts playing it from the beginning. On the other hand, I always run Amarok in debug mode or in gdb, and I'm also running version 2.3-GIT, built today.

2.1.1 is very old. Perhaps updating to something from this calendar year will improve your experience?
