I click the save playlist icon in the lower right hand corner (2.3.0)(KDE 4.4.1) and in the Media Sources pane it goes to Saved Playlists. It shows Internal Database and Playlist Files on Disk. I'd really like to save this as a file in my home directory but can't figure out how to do it... suggestions?

Playlist > Export Playlist As will bring up the save dialog, and allow you to save it anywhere you like. I do find the the playlist save icon a bit clumsy, because it saves automatically by date, and doesn't give you naming choice. You can however right-click and change the name of the file, or select and delete if you change your mind about saving it.
