ipod/tagging tool

im trying to update my ipod using amarok but i cant get it to read the ipod right is there something special i have to do? im using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic and i have the 80 gig video ipod (2007)


also does anyone know of a tool to change the tags on a song artist name,album name, ect

I don't know anything about iPods, but you might find what you need at http://wp.me/pKriD-9 . As for tagging, the most popular are Picard, EasyTag, and Kid3. Of course you can do some minor tagging jobs inside Amarok, but for anything more than a track or two, use a tagger program.

thanks for the tagging tools i ended up using gtkpod to update my ipod kinda stinks cause i wanted to use amarok
