Hi everybody.
First of all, sorry for my poor English.
I wish to compile amarok 2.3.1 for mandriva 2010.0. Then, somebody tell me i should install it in /usr/local/ but I don't know how.
Before, i used to download it in home/lluis/downloads/, create a build directory, and into it, type:

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix` -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debugfull .. && make && make install

The ./configure doesn't work, says that file or directory isn't there.
So, how can I indicate the installation has to be in /usr/local/?
T
hen, to update it, have I to download the .git again and compile it again with the same theorical rute /usr/local/? Will remove it the previous compilation? I would like have only one amarok.
Thanks

Erm, Amarok uses CMake, not Automake, which is an entirely different build system. There is no ./configure.

Please see here for a tutorial:
