While it's possible someone might be able to help you, 1.4 is obsolete, and hasn't been supported for at least a year, if not longer.

2.3.1 is working great! Come into the present, and get some support.

I'm good, no offense I don't really like the new version. It's kinda to much like itunes, I loved how amarok 1 was simple and didn't have all the added **** to it. If there is a way to make amarok 2 look and act like amarok 1 I would use it, but other than that whoever designed amarok 2 kinda failed, but sorry and take no offense; it's just my opinion.

Apart from using outdated software, shouldn't this be in the gentoo forums?

Well maybe if Amarok 2 didn't suck so bad, then I wouldn't have to go to the far side of unsupported software. But it's working great for me and doesn't have all the **** that is unneeded in an application, and I already knew it was unsupported since it was in the sunrise overlay. Maybe if people can stop messing up Amarok then I can go back to it, or just wait to Clementine is stable lulz!
