I have Amarok 2.3.0 installed on an opensuse 11.2 KDE 4 box and can't figure out how to do some things, even after trawling through posts in the forum.
1. How do I configure Amarok to find pictures of album covers already in the same folder as the album? 2. When I try to configure my playlists, I can add a folder, but not any subfolders. 3. Where is the fetch covers button? Thanks very much. Bob |

1. Amarok will find automatically any images in your album folders, esp. if they are named cover.jpg or cover.png.
2. If you intend on leaving out part of your ~/Music (or whatever), don't select it, but only the subfolders you want. So when you check that top-level folder, all sub-folders are selected by default. 3. You can fetch covers two ways: right-click on each album or a track from that album, and select Fetch Cover. Go to Tools > Cover Manager > Fetch Missing Covers (top-hand right). |
