Using Arch Linux, Gnome 2.30.0, KDE 4.4.3
For the latest amarok-git builds (as of the last two weeks at least), in the panel notification area the amarok tray icon displays as a page with a blue question mark on it, instead of the round wolf icon. Compiling from git source using gcc 4.5.0. I would think this is the fault of Gnome as the git version icon properly displays when using running a KDE session. except the proper icon is restored when reverting to amarok 2.3.0. I'll post this is a bug formally, but just a heads up here in case anyone has any thoughts / suggestions / is similarly affected. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=238854 |

Hmmmm.
Problem is also present on the just-released [community] 2.3.1-1 release too. I'll post this in the Arch linux forums too and see if anyone has a fix. The bug report was closed since Kevin Funk thought the -git package installed the icon in the incorrect location. However, others are also reporting this problem: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=98206 |
