As the topic says, Amarok only plays one song and then stops.
PS I have the latest version of Amarok, KUbuntu 10.4 64 bits. Cheerz Bloemetjesgordijn. |

Which Multimedia backend are you using? This setting can be viewed in System Settings > Multimedia.

Backend is Phonon Xine 0.2.60. I think its solved...after a few restarts it works

You didn't tell which exact Amarok version you are using.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

I'm sorry. I'm using 2.3.2 version. "Stop" effect happens only with some of the songs (lets say 80%). Focus on playlist will change to next track. Data from id3 tag will be displayed. Amarok will "stops" on a beging of the next track. It's looks like something between pause and stop. Songs "freeze" on 00:00 and you have to press play to unfreeze/unpause it... |

I often had this happen in 2.3.1, and 2.3.2. I'm happy to say that in 2.4, which I'm running from Git, it very rarely happens.

What is your playlist made of? Do you have streams or only local files? Where are these files located?

Playlist contains mp3 files only. Size of mp3 list dosn't matter. files are local and samba shares mounted as local directories:
but network file system is not related with this issue, cause it happens with only local mp3's too. |

Since it happens with all phonon backends (just to be sure, you changed the backend in the playback settings or in the KDE System Settings -> Multimedia -> Backend and the restarted Amarok to test, right?), this is likely a problem with the files. I can't reproduce this with either the xine or the vlc 0.3 backend on Amarok 2.4-git, but I don't use samba at all.
Could you please copy some files to your local harddisk and try again?

Right.
I'll run few tests today's evening and let you know. But I'm pretty sure it's not samba issue or files problem cause I had no problems with them on other players... |

This issue is really strange. It's very hard to find way to reproduce it. Right now I can reproduce it quite easy only with tracks that are streamed from Firefly Media Server (Bonjour protocol).
Tracks played other way "froze" very rarely and I can't find any common factor that links those situations. |

So it doesn't happen with local files?

It does but very, very rarely. It happened twice for over ~100 local tracks. For Firefly streamed tracks it happened approximatelly 17 times for 20 tracks (first tracks set) and once for next 17 tracks (second set). |
