I'm using Slackware 13.1 and I would like to configure my Amarok 2.3.0 to connect to my DAAP, the problem is that there is no new documentation in the Amarok's guide, what I found it is the steps for a older version and due to a change in the look some option are not there any more.
This is the link I'm referencing: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Music_Sharing I tried with Rhythmbox on Ubuntu and the shared folder is there on the list. Therefore it is not my server Freenas using Firefly fir DAAP. I would like some steps to how to configure my Amarok. Do I need to install any extra packages ? |

There is nothing to configure on the Amarok side AFAIK, it should just show up in the Local Music section if it is accessible. The wiki page you are refering to is for Amarok 1.4.x Please check your DAAP settings.

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

No, the way you set up your DAAP server, that has nothing to do with Amarok.

I don't think so as I said using Ubunutu and Rhythmbox, it works fine.
