Hi,
I don't seem to be able to get "Show only matches" to work. Is there a limit to the size of the playlist which it will work with? For example, if I have a playlist with 8008 tracks and I put jsdfhksjhdgfiksdhfgkdhfkghjdkfgjhdfkghdkhgkdfjg Into the search box, it still shows 7700 tracks, none of which obviously include that string. Interestingly, if I search for "fade to black" I still get 7700 tracks, once of which is a metallica track, but I have to find it manually! Therefore I conclude its not working. This coupled with another annoyance makes one use of Amarok impossible. Double click a track in the playlist or file manager to play it. If vanishes into the playlist and do not get started or queued. So you may as well not have bothered. Paul |

What exact Amarok version is this about?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

2.3.1 on KDE 4.5.1 and Gentoo.
I have found that occasionally if I scroll to the first item it is a correct match, but the other 76xx are not. |

This should definitely not be happening, it might be a new bug. There's no hardcoded maximum number of tracks, that's for sure.
We would appreciate if you could please file a bug report explaining this issue on https://bugs.kde.org/ , and don't forget to include your Amarok, KDE and Qt versions. |
