I'm hoping someone can offer some help. I have a 30 gb zen vision M player that I just simply cannot connect to my computer at all. I have tried many things, including Gnomad2 and Amarok. I have both the Libmtp and Libnjb libraries installed. Neither Gnomad2 or Amarok will detect the player. When I first installed Amarok, the player actually connected to the computer and began charging, but would not be detected in a program. Since then, I have not even been able to get the computer to detect the player, or get the player to charge.
Does anyone have any advice? I do not understand why it connected once and then never again, nor do I understand why the computer will not even register that it is attached. Any help would be massively appreciated. |

you should post what distro and what versions of Amarok and Gnomad2 you're using. Probably versions of Libmtp and Libnjb also
Can you change the Zen to be a msc instead of an mtp device? msc makes it look like any generic flash drive to the computer |
