I have my music organized such that I have one main "Music" folder and a subfolder for each artist, unless I have fewer than four tracks by that artist in which case all of the artist's tracks stay in the main "Music" folder. I recently noticed that those tracks in the main "Music" folder do not display in my Local Collection. I'm not sure how long this has been going on because I don't listen to music that often but I would assume it's since upgrading to Ubuntu Karmic/ Amarok 2.3.1. It worked fine before, at least. I don't want to change my organization system, so barring that, is there anything I can do to get Amarok to recognize these tracks?

some suggestions:
1) check out the tags in those less than 4 track artists, if they're not filled in they won't show (iirc the tags are what's used by the "collection", so no tags no collection entry) 2) do a full rescan of the collection |

Fully rescanning did it. Weird. Thanks.
