Version 2.3.1
Using KDE 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4) "release 2" Amarok running on suse 11.3, under 11.1 and kde 3 there was a "device" tab where you could connect mediaplayers to transfer playlists to. This "device tab" is now missing and there is now way to transfer mp3 playlists on a mp3 player any more. |

Thanks, so far it helped mounting my mp3player, but how can I store an existing playlist ( al files are on my pc) on to this mp3player ? There's no way to transfer an existing playlist to an external media player as far as I can see.

there are right click options in the collection window to copy/move selected files, there are also 2 scripts that appear (I say "appear" because I have no experience with them) to copy from playlist http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php?content=99005 & http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php?content=119179 - they can be installed via the script manager -> Get More Scripts

Great, I'm now able to copy mp3s to my external player. Amarok team should review their sw, there should be a "Playlist -> Export to externel device" button, that would help avoiding a lot of questions regarding mp3 players.
