Hello all!
I am having problem with amarok. It crashes during collection scan. I have run amarak with --debug and it always crashes after looking at one m3u file. First I tried to remove the folder it crashes in from the collection. That didn't help. Then I found the file in armarokrc, removed it and thought this will do it. But it still scans that file and crashes I use 2.3.0.90 on lucid (kubuntu) with kde 4.4.5. The first thing I will try is to update amarok. But I would really like to know how to disable the scan of that file.

Moving that file out of the folders that Amarok scans should fix the problem.
In Amarok's settings (accessible if it does not crash), you can exclude folders from scanning, but not single files. |

I removed the folder in the settings and the playlist from amarokrc. It crashed anyway on the same file.
But my move to a newer version solved the problem. I think I can mark this thread as solved. I got kde 4.5.1 and amarok 2.3.1 and I like them both |
