I always get the error :
Do I have to set something else so Amarok can find it? When I try playing a track with Amarok no matter what I am using, Mplayer or VLC, it just freezes and I have to kill the process. Someone plz help me! Edit: I am using Windows 7 64-bit if that might be a problem... Edit2: After the first error it gives me a second one:

Which instructions did you follow? We have a new installer here:
http://myriam.kollide.net/Amarok-2.3-Git-win32.exe You definitely should thy that one
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

sadly phonon vlc is not fuctioning properly with kde windows, so untill the issues are resolved you are stuck with mplayer. Mplayer backend does everything youd need.

How can you say that? It doesn't even support an Equalizer... |

Try the latest KDE for Windows release, Phonon-VLC seems to work quite fine now.
