I'm using the Android remote app to control the Amarok instance running on my desktop box via WLAN. Several weeks ago, the Android app added functionality to browse the collection and add tracks to the playlist (or play them directly). This never worked for me. At first I suspected a bug in the app, but I tried the WebUI script and it has the same problem. Both believe that adding the track to the playlist was successful, but they playlist doesn't change (and Amarok itself gives no visual hint that it got any client requests at all).
Since I couldn't remember how clean my 2.3.1 install was, I waited for the new Amarok version before complaining, but I just switched to 2.3.2 (Ubuntu package, running on KDE 3.5.1) and the problem stays the same. I haven't been able to find anything about this problem on the web. Is this a known bug? Am I the only one experiencing it? There may not be too many users of the Android app yet, but surely a few have tried the WebUI? Getting this to work would be really neat. |

I'm experiencing the same problem on Amarok 2.3.2, with the latest Amarok Remote as well as the WebUI. Neither of those seems to have been updated in the past couple months. Perhaps the scripting API for playlist modification has simply changed since then?
