CUE files, Streamripper and Amarok

Thu Sep 23, 2010 9:05 pm
I have a problem with Streamripper and RecordStream in Amarok.

When you install streamripper and RecordStream script you can record music. This works fine, but CUE file that contains meta data is corrupted.

In 2009 everything worked fine. After an update of Amarok or RecordStream script this doesn't work. Data in CUE is unreadable and you can not open this file with k3b.

Can someone help me with this issue?

Thank you.

You should ask the script author. Scripts you download are 3rd-party software not under our responsibility, and the http://kde-apps.org section has a forum for each entry where ou can ask questions.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
