Hello,
I can't play any LastFm radio anymore, although my account is valid (paid) (it does work in rhythmbox for instance). It complains something like "...communication problem with lastfm" I'm using maverick rc + amarok git compiled from source (ignoring KWallet through amarokrc config file does not work) I opened bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=253621 about that. Does anyone have a clue ? Thank you |

As already stated in the bug report: it works fine here with latest git, no idea why this doesn't work for you, but I doubt this is Amarok related.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Strange, as I tried both 2.3.2 & Git.
Git definitely failed at my end when it came to LastFm I should maybe try again with an updated git clone |

The issue here is that 2.3.2 onwards will not successfully login to last.fm and generate a login cookie/token, but if the cookie is present, it behaves itself properly. See my bug report here for further details of testing and a workaround (in short, downgrade to 2.3.1, log into last.fm, and upgrade to 2.3.2 or git again and do not touch the last.fm settings).
