amarok crash - don't know why

Tue Oct 26, 2010 12:05 pm
Hi guys

here's another thread about a crash. I don't know why it's crashing, it just happens randomly! I have a debug log: http://pastebin.com/Veu1ni2e
I only noticed that it happens on track change or at the very end of a track. It doesn't seem to crash on a sepcified track; it's crashing whenever it wants to ;)

Hope someone can help me so I can use amarok again! Currently I'm using vlc and it's really not made for a jukebox!

Looks like a crash in Phonon, but the debug output is not what we need, we need the backtrace from Dr. Konqi. Make sure you have all necessary debugging symbols installed for amarok and phonon.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Looks like a problem with the avcodecs, please check with your distribution, there is nothing we can do on our side as it is not an Amarok bug.
