Hi,

I feel kinda stupid, because I can't figure out how I did it the first time.
I want Amarok to guess the tags from the Filenames for multiple files. I can only select "guess tags from filename", when I check "Per Track", which should actually mean it only guesses it for that file and so it does - but I'm pretty sure (not 100%) that I did it once for a whole album. The feature is quite cool, but not actually useful if it can only be used on a per track basis. Does anyone know, how I can apply a certain scheme to all selected files?
Thanks in advance,

Malle

I'm running git - for me the same behavior, it can guess for one song but not for multiple - though in git musicbrainz is back and can be used for guessing multiple songs. This behavior might have changed from previous releases.

There's a number of good taggers available, I use kid3 for single albums and easytag for whole directories (I think it's a bit confusing but very powerful) others use picard, etc
